Brief History
The Amuvi Development Group (ADG) was inaugurated June 2020, by the then President General (PG), Amuvi Welfare Union (AWU) Mazi Ikechukwu Okafor.
Vision
The vision is to create a sustainable urban community in Amuvi village by enhancing the wellbeing of our people in the areas of:
• Health
• Safety
• Environment
• Infrastructures
• Education
• Entrepreneurships
• Culture/traditions
• Urban development
Strategic Roadmap
To achieve the vision of sustainable development in Amuvi, a strategic roadmap was established to guide our progress. This roadmap outlines key steps and initiatives aimed at transforming Amuvi into a well-developed and thriving community.
- Designed in June 2020
- Formation of committees for the design and implementation of appropriate projects.
- The committees are to suggest, choose, plan and implement the necessary projects which are the building blocks in the strategic road linking Amuvi from its present situation to our desired strategic developed state as the goals are achieved.
- Set ground rules to guide our internal and external operations.
